This is one of my favorite shirts, I got it from Talbots ages ago. I love the ruching in the bust, it gives lots of room for - er, well...the bust. :-)

You guys have seen this jacket a million times before, its one of my Loft faves. The skirt is a ponte knit pencil from Chadwicks. Tights are by Assets from Tarjay! :-)

Well, 2011 - already out of January! Where does the time go?

So, IDK why the tights look like such a different color in the images. They are the same brown as the boots IRL. They are "assets" brand from Target.

This jacket is from Talbots, last fall. Its one of my faves. The top is also from Talbots, from Feb09



Skirt was an oldie from Loft - one of the great clearance conquests.



Boots are the $12.99 pair from the Avenue. I have got quite a bit of use from these guys.

Hey everyone, I had a question in the comments about Macy's and plus sizing. The Macy's I used to shop in Tampa has a large plus size section on the second floor. This department carried most of their store brands, such as Charter Club and INC as well as some other brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors. And they carried 0X/ 12W! Which I love, its hard to find that size. Also, if you are an inbetween, many of their brands offer an 18 in misses sizes.

Confession: I have this weird thing with Macy's - when I feel like I have a lack of patterns in my closet, I go into Macy's and just grab some tops until I feel fully "patterned" again. Haha. They carry the best "non-solids"

At any rate, here are a few items from Macys I have featured on the blog.

Hey guys, currently, Talbot's has their sale items marked down 50% (prices as marked on site), some non-sale items are 50% off (prices as marked on site) and now, there is an additional 25% off coupon (and free shipping) if you use 024840756. This coupon worked for me, while I was logged-in to my account, so I will say it is probably a coupon anyone can use. (I did not receive the coupon directly, a friend emailed it to me.) Please note, sometimes they turn these off when they "get out" online, so just be aware of that.

Be sure and watch for what is final sale, and what is not as well. Gigi has opened a weekly "swap/sell "thread for Talbots final sale merchandise, which is awesome! We never needed one before, but this might help ease the sting of final sale choices gone wrong ;-)

Wow! So on tonight's makeover, Aleishe, they took her right into Talbot's after she had a tough day finding clothes that fit, and she looked lovely in their clothes :-)

I wish TLC's website was updated, but it appears to have been abandoned after last season LOL. Should her photos and or shopping list ever come available, I will post. :-)

They had her in the above blouse during the in-studio reveal, and it looked so pretty.
